The International Conference on Innovative Materials for Green Technologies (IMGT 2027) will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from 28 March to 1 April 2027.
IMGT 2027 provides an international platform for researchers, scientists, engineers, academics, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present the latest advances, and explore emerging opportunities in innovative materials and green technologies.
The official language of IMGT 2027 is English. Translation and interpreting services will not be available.
March is one of the warmest months in Bangkok, with typical daytime temperatures of around 33–35°C. The weather is generally hot and humid, so participants are advised to wear light, comfortable clothing and stay hydrated when outdoors.
We encourage participants to dress comfortably in casual business attire. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure personal comfort.
Please arrive at the conference venue at least 30 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for registration, preparation, and any last-minute program updates.

Visa requirements for Thailand depend on your nationality. Participants are advised to check the applicable requirements before making travel arrangements.
The exemption period reverts from 60 days to 30 days. The list published in the Royal Gazette covers 60 nationalities, including most of Western Europe, North America, and a range of countries across Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania:
A one-time extension of up to 30 additional days remains available at a local immigration office for 1,900 THB, subject to officer approval.
Mauritius and Seychelles move from the 60-day scheme to a 15-day exemption. The Maldives was placed in the 30-day list instead when the final rules were drafted in July.
Visa on Arrival eligibility drops from 31 countries to three: Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Serbia. The 15-day stay length for Visa on Arrival entries stays the same.
Countries with bilateral visa exemption agreements with Thailand aren't affected by this reform, since those arrangements sit outside the scheme being repealed. Stays under bilateral agreements range from 14 days for Cambodia and Myanmar (international airport arrivals only), to 30 days for China, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, Russia, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam, to 90 days for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and South Korea.
If your nationality doesn't appear on the 30-day, 15-day, bilateral, or Visa on Arrival lists, you'll need to apply for a Thai visa before you travel. Thailand's e-Visa system lets you submit applications online through the relevant Thai diplomatic mission.
